Buryhook Countryside Management has been trading since 2000, carrying out coutryside, woodland and tree works in and around Oxfordshire. Through our work we became increasingly aware of the number of large and ‘special’ trees that were being reduced to firewood/biomass and felt there was better ways of using of this precious resource. From this Buryhook Timber arose. Initially working with a chainsaw mill we quickly progressed and purchased the Lucas portable sawmill This allows us to take the mill to site and quickly and conveniently convert felled/fallen trees, to produce useable and valuable timber. We offer mobile sawmilling locally and are happy to travel.

SAWMILLING
With quick onsite setup, our Lucas Mill 10/30 portable sawmill allows us to deal with logs of up to six meters long. It’s also ideal for narrow access, only requiring one meter wide.
CHAINSAW MILL
Where access is severely restricted, or the job is small we also have a chainsaw based mill. This can be carried/set up easily by one person and produces accurate ‘through and through’ boards. It is also possible to easily create beams and more interesting shapes as required.
PRODUCTS
We have a small stock of ‘feature’ slabs and interesting pieces of timber and can also supply cladding, beams and fencing. We also build in timber and have links with a number of skilled craftsmen who can help with your projects.
COUNTRYSIDE SERVICES
Buryhook Counyside Management have extensive experience in providing practical woodland management, hedgelaying, pubilc access works. and hazard/emergency trees.
